“It doesn’t matter whether you are black or brown or white or whatever the hell colour you are. It doesn’t matter. We are all Americans and we are gonna pull together as Americans.” An energetic Trump spoke in the Bronx, New York, yesterday to over 50,000 New York residents.
It would be the first time any presidential candidate ever stepped foot in the black-dominated rural town over the last 40 years since Ronald Reagan.
Thousands of pro-Trump supporters including Democrats disappointed by the Biden administration, lined up on the streets of South Bronx— a core Democrat constituency since 2018—thus disgracing the Bronx Congressional District lawmaker, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who predicted a failed rally for Trump.
Popular left-wing media, CNN, was compelled to admit the impossible success of the rally given the teeming throng of diverse supporters, including Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Latinos, and Asians, gathered together for Trump in a core Democrat stronghold.
Trump took time to denounce the war-mongering appetites of Democrats recounting his legacy as the only peace-time president in over seven decades of US history. Economic downturn, rising inflation, injustice at the courts and the crisis at the Southern border were the other key points addressed at the rally, as many New Yorkers expressed concern over Mayor Eric Adams’ support for the influx of illegal migrants.
“Everything they are doing to him, they can do to us” a black female Trump supporter remarked, in reaction to the sham trial by New York Judge Juan Merchan. The corrupt judge whose family has profited over $1 million since the start of the trial, denied testament of two Trump key witnesses while admitting embittered ex-Trump lawyer and convicted felon, Michael Cohen, to testify against Trump.
Trump, who continues to lead Biden by over 14% in the predicted polls, urged New Yorkers to go out en masse and vote in November to make the results too big to rig.
