RECORDS DON’T LIE: WHY HARRIS AT THE WHITE HOUSE IS A COMPETENCE RISK.

Grave competence concerns continue to arise over US VP Kamala Harris’ thirst for the nation’s highest office. Harris’ whose Indian and Jamaican heritage earned her America’s first diversity VP, is hoping to leverage the same on her quest to the top, but current polls indicate that the former state prosecutor suffers a low popularity, raising questions about her ability to unify the nation.
Losses, failure and unpopularity are not new to Harris. In 2020, step-mother Harris lost woefully at the Democrat primaries, even losing to lesser contestant, Kirsten Gillibrand, and also losing her home state, California, where she scored a meagre 6% favorability.
The tie breaker senator is no better at the Congress house where she has performed underwhelmingly on critical issues from abortion to energy and foreign policy spending. As “border czar” America suffers the invasion of over 10 million illegal migrants underscoring her abject failure in managing critical responsibilities.
Harris attracted criminal immigrants and repelled close staff, setting a historic turnover rate by aides who described the cackling senator as “horrendous”, “toxic” and “visionless” to work with.
More bizarre are the tales about her time as California’s attorney general. Kevin Cooper, for example, was denied appeal 12 times, refused exonerating DNA evidence, and sentenced to death by Kamala over allegations of murder of four white people. The self-professed marijuana smoker and alleged alcohol addict was famous for tossing fellow marijuana smokers from marginalised communities in jail while cackling about it at the Breakfast Club. Such contradiction, many believe, raises ethical questions on the sincerity of motives in addressing social justice issues.
In the words of Obama, Harris flooded California with enough moral and social “sewage” resulting in a 10% crime increase, while she proudly mounted the city hall podium to conduct its first gay marriage.
With economic hardship biting harder into citizen’s pockets, the historic euphoria around the US first female Vice President may have now waned. The White House is no DEI souvenir; all candidates must undergo rigorous qualification tests. So far Kamala’s records appear grossly lacking in capacity yet rich in radical liberalism.
With 49 days until the US election, American voters are charged to critically assess her track record, leadership style, and the implications of her policies to determine her fitness to lead America effectively.
